Natural hairstrokes with soft, beautiful definition.
Do you love the natural appearance of hairstrokes but want a little more fullness and definition? Combination brows bring two permanent makeup techniques together: delicate hairstrokes and soft machine shading. The hairstrokes create a realistic finish at the front and through sparse areas, while gentle shading adds shape, density and definition. Based in Thornton, Liverpool L23, close to Crosby and convenient for clients across Sefton and Liverpool.
Combination brows combine natural-looking hairstrokes with soft pixelated shading. Hairstrokes are used to recreate the appearance of eyebrow hair, while shading is carefully added to provide additional depth and definition. The two techniques are blended together so that the result does not look harsh or blocky.
The finished effect can be adjusted to suit you. It may be soft and subtle or slightly more defined, depending on your natural brows, skin type and personal preference.
Combination brows may be an excellent option if you:
Your skin and eyebrows will be assessed to establish whether combination brows are the most suitable technique for you.
Hyperrealism brows are primarily made up of intricate machine hairstrokes and are designed to create an extremely natural, hair-like result.
Combination brows unite hairstrokes with soft shading. They are ideal for clients who love a realistic front but want additional density and definition through the body and tail of the eyebrow. If you are uncertain which treatment to choose, I can assess your natural brows, skin type and desired result before recommending the most suitable option.
It depends on the colour, shape and saturation of your existing pigment. Adding new pigment over an old, dark or blocky brow will not necessarily improve it — the previous colour can affect the visibility and healing of the new hairstrokes and shading.
Please send clear, makeup-free photographs of your eyebrows before booking. If the existing pigment is unsuitable to work over, I may recommend laser brow removal first. Starting with a clearer canvas often provides much greater freedom to create a softer, more flattering shape.
Your appointment will include:
Your new eyebrow shape will be carefully mapped and pre-drawn before treatment begins. We will review the design together before any pigment is implanted.
Yes. Fresh combination brows will normally appear darker, warmer and more sharply defined than the healed result. As your skin heals, the colour will soften and the finished brows will appear more natural. Mild redness, tenderness, flaking and changes in colour intensity can occur during the healing process.
Please follow the aftercare instructions carefully and avoid picking or scratching the area.
A booking fee may be required to secure your appointment. Full booking and cancellation terms will be provided before treatment.
Every face is different, which means every set of brows should be different too. I take time to consider your bone structure, natural eyebrow growth, skin type, colouring and personal preference before creating your design.
My aim is to enhance your features with carefully considered, wearable brows — not to give every client the same shape or a heavy, block-like finish. You will be listened to throughout the process and given an honest recommendation about the most suitable treatment for your skin and desired result.

Results gradually fade over time. Longevity differs between clients and is affected by skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure, skincare products and aftercare.
Combination brows refer to the finished blend of hairstrokes and shading. The exact application method should be explained during your consultation so you understand how your treatment will be performed.
Yes. The hairstrokes and shading can be kept soft and subtle. They will look more defined than hyperrealism hairstrokes alone, but they should still complement your natural features.
Once your brows have healed, the result can be assessed and any areas that need additional pigment can be perfected. Your skin must be given sufficient time to heal before this appointment.
Only if the previous pigment is light enough and the existing shape is suitable. Please send photographs for assessment before booking.
Your pigment will be selected according to your natural brow hair, skin tone and desired result. Fresh pigment may initially look warmer or darker before settling during healing.
Certain medical conditions, medications, skin conditions, pregnancy, breastfeeding or active infections may prevent or delay treatment. You will be required to complete the appropriate consultation and medical forms before your appointment.
